Liquidity and capital-call schedule

Trace an assumed cash reserve through annual spending, capital calls and inflows. Negative balances identify unmet funding needs.

Cash-flow assumptions

Annual calls and inflows remain flat. Spending inflation starts in year two. The schedule assumes zero return on the reserve and does not model intra-year timing.

Keep dates beside amounts.

An annual schedule can hide a call due before an inflow arrives. Use a dated obligation ledger and review the confidence of each inflow before treating the result as an operational funding plan.

Challenge the funding path.

Try a lower inflow assumption, a larger spending requirement and a different horizon. A useful scenario should identify a decision and the person responsible for taking it.
